I can't believe we leave in 2 days!!! Maya can't believe we haven't started packing yet...what's the holdup? Well...we still have laundry to do, we met with the pet sitter yesterday, need to get rid of the food at the back of the frig that needs to be thrown out anyway, etc, etc, etc...
7 days: 2 days of traveling (comfy clothes - Drew reminded us that ALL OUR CLOTHES need to be comfy - LOTS OF WALKING TO DO AT DISNEYWORLD!!), 5 more days (2 days' clothes taken care of after Mary's planning - Buss Kids, Buss Big Kids, and Buss Old Kids tshirts), 6 nights - we should probably plan on doing some laundry while we're there...do you think that the Port Orleans resort at DisneyWorld will do it for us and lay it on the bed with the after-dinner mint on our pillows?? :)
We probably haven't done enough homework on where we're going to spend our time and what we don't want to miss while we're there...I'm sure whatever we get to will be fantastic!
The weather looks to be good...we're going from somewhere where it's snowing right now to mid 70's by day and 50's by night.
Can't wait for all the big rides! Katie and Josh will be there to accompany Miss Maya on any ride that Drew and I won't enjoy...not that there's many of those though!

A friend's daughter just got back from South Beach (yeah, I know it's far away from Orlando, but still in Florida, right?), and said she swam in the ocean...the kids are hoping that they can get in a few days at the water parks...the less time I'm in a swimsuit, the better. :)
Well...sang all three services at church this morning, we're heading back in about 1/2 hour for an Advent Arts and Crafts Festival, and then to "breakfast for dinner" at a friend's place. 1/2 day of work for me, an install for Drew, and a day of school for Maya tomorrow. Then more laundry and packing and hopefully NO OVERFILLED SUITCASES that we'll have to pay extra for! Wish us luck!!!

Abbey has requested a small snowglobe from Disney World. Apparently she is now collecting them, and doesn't care if they come from a place she has visited :) She can live vicariously through Miss Maya.

Ugh! It's 4:15 AM and I'm getting ready to load the car. Is there some rule that vacations have to start at O' Dark-thirty? :)
THis is so much fun! Loved reading your first entry and it sounds like it is going to be a fantastic trip.. I am excited for Maya... I remember going to Disney world when I was around 11 with my parents, bro and grandma and it felt like heaven! Have fun and safe trip!
